January 02, 2009 CNNA Muslim family removed from a plane Thursday after passengers became concerned about their conversation about the "safest" place to sit says AirTran officials refused to re-book them, even after FBI investigators cleared them of wrongdoing.
All eight members of the Irfan family from Alexandria, Va., and a friend were kicked off an Orlando-bound AirTran Airways flight after two other passengers overheard what they thought was a "suspicious remark".
The remark involved one of the family's desire to sit in the "safest" seats.

  3. Well noone, I don't know how, but the following comment I left yesterday, somehow got on your first post, but not here. Here:

Noone, this reminds me of an incident last year when a guy was wearing a tee shirt written in Arabic. He was pulled off a plane and not allowed to continue with his flight. He sued the airlines. He won. The tee-shirt, translated said, I am not a terrorist. It was nothing but "suspicion" that was at play.

  4. Thanks to doug, I now know my url. I have no idea how jadedJ found me. or Lerm, or Captain. I am having quite a time figuring out this blogspot SH*T.
Anyway, I love the profiling they are doing now...we are all americans, and how dare they target only certain "types". Pulled off a plane because of a tee-shirt?!? Glad he sued the bastards.

  5. noone---I've pretty much got this thing nailed. There are pluses and minuses (so what's new). If you need help, just ask...be glad to. Actually, I think it's easier on the design side, than JS...but missing a couple of important features... PM/ing, bookmarking comments and statistics of who is visiting and who is looking at your blog. I downloaded sitemeter, which sort of takes care of the statistics. So now I need to figure out how to PM without actual email addresses. Otherwise, it's not too bad here.
Oh, I didn't find you until you commented on my blog...then I clicked follow, and now you are on my list.
